We will honor one small business that has demonstrated
innovation and excellence with the Time Warner Cable
Business Accelerator Award. The winning business will

The
Business Accelerator Award will be presented at the
"State of the Triad' event hosted by the Greensboro,
High Point and Winston-Salem Chambers
of Commerce on December 6, 2007. Three businesses will
be selected as finalists and invited to the event, with
the Grand Prize winner being announced that evening.

A panel of seasoned business professionals
in the Piedmont Triad has been selected to work with
Time Warner Cable Business Class and the Greensboro,
High Point and Winston-Salem Chambers of Commerce to
evaluate the applications and select the winner based
on the following criteria*:

of your business

Marketing - how your
business is reaching target customers

Finance - profitability
of your business

Operations - day-to-day
management and staffing

Community Relations
- effect on community, including jobs, business
relations
and special projects

Nominating
your business is a simple matter of completing the
online application form.
Applications will only be accepted from October
8 through November 2, 2007.

To
be eligible for the Business Accelerator Award, your
business must be headquartered in the Piedmont Triad,
less than five years old, and employ fewer than 100

Judges will use a scoring system to rank answers to
all questions in each of the five categories and will
place the following weights on the sections - 12.5 percent
each for Background, Marketing, Finance and Operations,
and 50 percent for Community Relations.
